Hi all,

This is my first posting on this forum so please be gentle.

I've had my first ever Gecko now for about three weeks. I've started it out on mealworms as its staple diet and plan to keep it on these for some time. I've read that you can also give them waxworms as a treat but not too often. Any suggestions how many to give and how often as there seems to be differing opinions on the websites I've looked at?

Any advice would be welcome.

Hi Mark, i've also just started out. As far as i'm aware crickets are a more fixed diet, wax worms and meal worms are more a treat for them as they are fatty. When i feed mine the wax worms i tend to give him 2 plus a cricket as a friday's meal. Through out the week i feed him 3 crickets a night if they aren't eaten iby the following morning i'll take them back out again.
