Oh dear , just made a massive schoolboy error by feeding my sub-adult wax worms for a couple of days , and now as every forum and site tells us , he wont eat anything else DOH . So i guess ive got to not feed him for abit , but dont know how long for..????? Any idea's on this one folks
My guy was fed these as and when before he came to me.
He was hungry so took to other food, but then I treated him & for a week he played up, but he's adult, so all I offer is cricks/locusts & he has had to make do.
Found waxies are good for giving vits/calcium, as I know he will eat them. But then all his food is dusted.
well , he's back on the crickets , under protest , so theres a lesson learned there , hes still not keen on being handled though , but thats ok , I'm able to weigh him etc .....thats all ,
the baby female on the other hand is very hand tame and calm .
Male weighs 60g and female 19g , shes gained 2g every week so far .
