rite , leo still hasnt appeared to eat after 7 days , but poops every day , and its solid , darkish with a blackish end , hes out every nite now , and wanders around till he finds his fav spot , half on the sub , and half on his hide , seems happy enough , reacts to my hand by raising his body and tail and kinda gulps , ive still not tried actual palm handling him yet , enclosed a pic , but its poor quality , so sorry

if he's pooping every day then he's eating ~ have you tried counting the livefood that you give him to see how much is being eaten? Also would weigh him regular as this not only gives an idea of weight gained but also if he starts to lose weight.

weighing him would envolve picking up , am i being too sensative here.?? as I dont want to stress him anymore and go backwards a few steps , id like him to be tame , not just a leo in a viv...if you understand my meaning....i count the meal worms , but crickets can hide behind the background etc , i normally put about 4 cricks in every few days , but theres always a couple lurking around lol , thanks for the advice , ill update in a few days and contact the breeder , its a shop , but home breeds ( so they say)

the easiest way (and least stressful) is to gently shephard him into a crix box or similar and weigh him ~ a lot of scales now allow you to 'tare' the weight and so weigh the box first
