Basically i had my brothers female gecko for a week while he went on holiday, shes only about 5 months old, for laziness i thought id put her in with my female for abit while i sorted her a tank, assuming they would just have a dissagreement and keep to seperate ends of the tank, it seemed my lady geck took on some maternal role?? as soon as they clapped eyes on each other they seemed inseperable they even slept cuddled up in their big house?? so i left them together til my brother came home friday and took his home, probably not the best idea considering now it seems my lady is depressed? searching her tank, restless, when she wasnt looking around she was just laying there looking pathetic, and wont eat.
i asked my brother and apparently his gecko is acting exactly the same, he brought her back round earlier today and they both ate and settled back down seemingly happy and lively? i know this sounds ridiculous, but i dont know what to do and would love some sensible advice ? i was always lead to believe that gecko's prefer being alone...?
