Default tempeture - 31-08-2010, 01:24 AM

hi all just a quick question, what is the best tempeture for a 3foot viv with 3 leo's in?? i have been told between 26-28 is this correct or is it higher or lower?? i also have a heat lamp set up to a dimmer and also a mat wich is in one end!! is this a good setup or not?? help would be much apreciated xx xx

I prefer using a heatmat only (covering a third to a half of the floor area) and fitted with a thermostat set at between 88*f-90*f (31*c-32*c)

As above. You need to provide a thermal gradient in the viv, so the hot end temperature (directly above the heat mat) should be 31C - 32C, while the cold end temperature should be about 24C.
