Hi Cortina, I'm a woman & pole dancing is one of the best for keeping in shape - not that i can do it but i have seen that you can buy a pole you can use at home & there is a lot more positive information on the tv lately about it. Obveiously my huband would love me to take it up...Hhhhum!
This year i am going to do a charty walk - or if fit enough a charity jog in September for the guide dogs for the blind in London. 1st time for everything! LOL! Some of my friends are also joining in for other charitys.
I must admit, i have always wanted to try belly dancing as that also looks a lot of fun & keeps you in shape!
Hey gecko- addict, that belly dancing thing sounds great. Something i've thought about on an off since having the kids, I may be only 33 but mid rift feels twice as old. That must be a great way to trim it up.
Tell me about it, i'm the roughly the same age but had our kids years ago now as they are in their early teens & it scares me blind as the weight over the years has gone on & i am determind not to let it all go!!!
I've got 2 boys, the eldest is 14 in June. How depressing i was 7 and a half stone and 5 foot before i had him and put on 5 and a half stone while pregnant...... Oh my god i looked like a weeble..... And struggling to keep off all that time. Didn't put as much on with my 7 year old, But being 5 ft and size 14 is getting a little deppressing now.
So actully i think this means another trip to weight watchers Wednesday...........
I do need to do more fitness stuff and really fancyed the belly dancing, but nowhere round here. Swimming boring, Don't do arobics and such like, my arms and legs don't work together. The gym not to bad but thats not cheep. And lets face it there just isn't much fun stuff close by........
