Default Spiny-Tailed Gecko - 19-09-2006, 04:00 PM

The spiny-tailed gecko is found in woodlands and grasslands, living in trees or other vegetation. Here is the best picture that I could find that would show the barbs that they have on their tails.

I love that picture and I love the way a gecko always look like they are posing just for the camera, really beautiful creatures in my opinion, but that is a cool looking one, I wonder how spikey the tail is?

Does the spiny-tailed Gecko know how to use it's tail as a weapon well? Anyway, it's a cool looking Gecko, and the spikes make it even cooler.

Wow now this is a stunning Gecko! Why are they called Australian Gecko's? Can you only get them there or is that were they are from.

I have just learnt something new, I never knew that Gecko's camouflage them self.
