Default What size terrarium? - 19-09-2010, 12:17 AM

Hi, I am looking to get a Leopard Gecko in the very near future and want to give the little fella as good a home as I can. I was looking at the Exo Terra glass terrariums which come in quite a few different sizes. Can anybody tell me if I would be better buying the 45 x 45 x 45 version or the 60 x 45 x 45 version as I noticed that Pets At Home are selling a kit for Leo's which includes ths 45x45x45. Thanks

hi
to be honest I prefer using wooden vivs as they not only hold the temperature better then the exo's but afford extra security too plus if you shop around they're cheaper
Generally the minimum size for a single leo is 2' x 1' x1' (60cm x 30cm x 30cm)

Thank you for your reply, after looking at the wooden ones, I think we'll go for a vivexotic LX24 which has a floor area of 587x375.
