very cute
just a word of advice though get rid of the sand and put him on paper towel, if he eats the sand he could become impacted and die. Sand is a def no no for geckos under 1 year and after that its still not recommended but if you must have it use childs play sand. I have got ceramic tiles in my viv and mines doing fine.

i use calci sand, elfish_gecko is right it can cause impaction and kill you baby leo! if you use calci sand at least if he/she swallows it, then it can be digested easily, and contains calcium, unlike playsand that has toxins and stuff in it, apparently.

Im sorry High yellow but your wrong
Claci sand is NOT digestable at all only 2% of it is digestable.
Claci sand acts like kitty litter and clumps together when its wet,
considering the inside of a leo is wet thats exactly what is going to happen when the leo swallows it.

Sand is NEVER recomended for baby leos at all EVER!
You should take the sand out and replace it with kitchen roll straight away.

Personal opinions are welcome all the time

But I like to make people aware of the high risk calci sand carries
Using Calci sand you pose a much higher risk to impactation than any other substrate.
