Default New Terrarium for Fire Bellied Toads - 16-02-2010, 04:02 PM

Just put this together over the last couple of days and am just cycling it, I may need to add another plant or two but will let it cycle for a couple of weeks before adding the new inhabitants.

We have tried to get them to breed but as yet we haven't had any spawn, I'm thinking about moving the whole set up to another position as at the moment it doesn't get much natural light.

Hope that if I move it I will make a couple of modifications to try and produce a more natural environment and it will also get a better day/night natural cycle and it might encourage them to breed.

The natural daylight will help hunny also what ratio of male to female do you have??? Are your males calling?? (mine chirp all night) You could also get some aquatic plants so they don't feel exposed in the water.
