Congrats on getting a crestie...I only hope you realise how addictive they are! If you've only had the littlun for a couple of weeks, then it could simply still be settling in, hence he's not eating very much. Try to keep handling to a minimum for a while and leave him to settle in quietly; he may start eating slightly more once he's settled.
However, you need to bear in mind that a crestie of that age will eat surprising small amounts of food: probably around half a teaspoonful (or less) of CGD, so that could account for why he doesn't seem to be eating very much. Often the best way to judge whether or not young cresties are eating is actually to check for poop in the viv as, quite frequently, it's difficult to tell that they've eating anything from their food bowl. If you do want to monitor how much CGD he's eating, use a shallow bowl (milk bottle tops are ideal) and place a shallow (2 - 3mm) amount of CGD in it: that way you should be able to see lick marks.
With regard to the crickets, then again it could be that he's just settling in or even that he's simply not used to live food. The following may not be pleasant, but it has been known to work! Try slightly squishing a cricket (so that its 'goo' oozes out), place a teeny blob of CGD on the cricket and then offer it to him by hand. Hopefully, he should start licking at the CGD and that may, in turn, give him a taste for crickets. Alternatively, have you tried to offer other types of live food? Generally, my Rhacs seem to prefer locusts and dubia roaches to crickets.
