Default New Gecko With Old Gecko - 23-04-2009, 11:03 AM

Hi, I recently put a new gecko (Echo - 3 Months old) in with my old gecko (Lush - about 9 Months)...

Lush is acting differently since the arrival of Echo, his alot more active but doesnt like being held anymore. He has developed a red spot under his belly... They have a huge viv, about 70cm cube. its massive. loads of hides, water and food. they are getting on ok, sleeping ontop of each other and eating together, but im just concerned.... is it possible Lush could be pregnant? i think she's a she?

lush is 9 months old which is about the time they reach sexual maturity but on the other hand echo is 3 months old now i'm not tosure but in my experience they wouldnt usually mate. Also, I don't like the sound of keeping these two together. Could you post pics of the red spots? To be on the safe side could you possibly get them seperate vivs? Your also meant to quarantine your new animals for atleast 3-6 months prior to adding them into another viv.
