Unhappy my Woody - 20-11-2008, 07:50 PM

is unwell, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I took Woody to the vet and he has been kept in. The vet said he could feel a lump in his tummy that shouldn't be there and that most likely the cause of him being sick. They are giving him fluids and going to do an ultrasound to see if that shows anything, then depending on what they find will determine the next step.
Please keep your fingers crossed that my baby will be ok and come home safe and well.
Thanks
Munkys Mummy (Joy)

to update
Sad news Im afraid. Woody is at peace now. He had an ultrasound which showed very little so 3 xrays later the vet saw a mass. He was given my permission to go ahead and investigate and when he opened Woody up, he found a large tumour which was tightly attached to the bowel. To operate would have been extremely risky and he said that Woody may not waken up from the op, so I had to make a decision, which is so difficult at the best of times but was so much harder as I was at work. I decided as Woody was already under anaesthetic that it would be kinder to let him go.
I am absolutely deavastated.
