I've had my leopard gecko since october, and I have been trying very hard to get him used to me. His name is Diego and he is about year old, and he has still yet to warm up to me. When I put my hand in the cage, he generally will come out and sniff it, once in a while he will climb on to my hand, but any slight movement and he is out of there as fast as he can go. Will he always be like this or should I keep trying?

Just keep trying, best to try just before feeding so they associate your hand with good things (i.e. food)

keep trying i have one female that took a long time and she still occasionally gets freaked.just be calm and patient try hand feeding a waxworm (reptile candy) not to often though as they are fattening
