Default My 3 geckos have stopped eating - 14-11-2010, 03:11 PM

Hi all, i'm a new member and have got a problem, my three carrot tailed geckos, 2 female and 1 male have stopped eating, they are quickly loosing weight, I have tried various suggestions regarding incorrect heating, incorrect lighting, worm infestation but nothing I have done is working. They are housed in a 3' viv, with an under tank heat mat in addition to a basking light, the temp is 32 cent at one side of the tank and 22 cent at the other. they have various hides and a constatly damp moist box, they are not dehydrated as they drink and bathe in the water daily, I have tried various foods as well as baby fruit puree but they still refuse to eat, help!! what am I doing wrong?? any advice welcome

How long have they not been eating?/how long have you had them all.

Is your warm end reading 32c on the floor....air temp is not important it is the temp of the Floor, so you may as well remove the basking light as they DO NOT need it.

What substrate are they on?

Have you had proper poo test done from the vets?

Perhaps they are stressing each other so none of them are eating?

Have you tried leaving a small dish of mealies in the viv 24/7 to see if they do eat wgen your not around?
