Thumbs up Leopard Geckos, Breeding Pair with Set-ups and Incubator - 30-04-2011, 02:42 PM

Unfortunately I am having sell my breeding pair of leopard geckos(plus two set-ups and incubator) due to lack of space as they are in my sisters room and she is moving back home.

Leeroy the male is a 4 year old high yellow and Luna the female is a 3 year old yellow hypo, both handle well and are eating, shedding and pooing as normal.

I originally bought them both separately but decided to put them together at the end of 2009 to give them both a bit of company and low and behold they got on like two peas in a pod and started mating

It was Luna's first season of breeding and she laid 14 eggs all of which hatched into healthy little hatchlings (two are pictured). You will get the incubator I used as well which gave me 100% success rate last year with a mix of males and females (not bad for a first timer!).

They have been separated as Luna has started laying this years eggs. She has only laid four eggs so far so if you wanted to you could set up the incubator ready for her next batch. The reason she looks slightly skinny in the photos is because she had just laid two eggs about 10 minutes before I took the photos.

You will get both geckos plus the two set-ups pictured (including heat mats, lighting, hides, bowls etc). You will also get the incubator I used last year which comes with a heat mat, habistat thermostat, temperature/hygrometer and the polystyrene incubator box.

I really regret having to sell them which are why they need to go to a nice dedicated caring new owner with reasonable experience (anyone will tell you that breeding is not for beginners and believe it or not is hard work!)

I would like £250 for everything which is reasonable considering what I paid for it all!

Can take more photos if you need them

If you have any further questions then please email me or call me on 07771365773.

Thank You

It is worth pointing out that I made just over £250 for the hatchlings at the end of last year so if you need something to get you a bit of extra money for those winter months this would be it!

Do you have two set-ups because they need to be seperate out of breeding season otherwise the male stresses the female out too much. I will consider an offer on just the geckos! Cheers
