Default Leo sleeping at night - 29-11-2011, 06:16 PM

Hi,

I have occasional caught my leopard gecko sleeping at night. i know they are nocturnal so thought this a bit odd. does this happen or could there be something wrong..

ive also noticed that when i am on one side of the gecko he closes the other eye and when i move over he opens it. theres no gunk or anything around the eye and it is usualy always open when hes wandering around - anyone have any ideas whats causing this?

thanks

Do you mean what is causing him to sleep at night? They are not very active and will only come out to hunt for food for the most part. Make sure he is not too cold also.
