i just had an PM email from the team at GECKOS FORUM UK offering me drugs... any ideas what this is all about or has the site been hacked and they are sending out messages to the members... i hope this is the place post this ...thought you guys should know

Nothing hacked. Just a spammer managed to get through the checks.

User banned and messages deleted.

Thought id add this here anyway seen as its the same issue, Got a message from a member, in the message a link was provided leading me to a site that was marked an attack site by the 3 Anti-Virus programs I use at different intervals.

Username was Jessie, Now im not saying they were a spammer but them sending me links to malicious sites is a bit of a joke.

Just lettin ya know even if they seem legit dont follow any links.

I also got a message from jessie. I thought it was strange as it was sent as a private message at 4.50am. Didnt think any more of it but didnt respond or follow any links etc. hopefully nothing dodgy but strange...

i'll see if I can add another layer of spam protection into sending private messages.

I got 7 unwanted pm's the last few months. I deleted them without opening, but it's just not funny... I know I'm not much on here, but I just wanted you to know. It can be helpfull for the future.
