Default Infrared lighting - 28-08-2011, 04:13 PM

Hi just had my Leo put down last week and have bought another. My first one always just had a normal light on through the day and switched off during the night but my first Leo use to be out all day and sleep through the night which is strange.
My new Leo seems to be acting the normal way staying in hides during the day and coming out and exploring on a night.
So I wanted to no if it's okay if I have my normal light through the day to give the daytime feel And then switch it to an infrared when I get to night time when I'd usually turn her light off. She's only a baby and I thought this would help me with night time observing without upsetting the nighttime affect.

I've only had my geckos for a week but I use a day light for daytime and a infrared light for night time. My geckos are all different one seems to be out all the time day or night goes and hides for a bit them out again. The other 2 venture out only at night time.
Hope this helps.
