Default Help...I Think My Cresty is dieing... :C - 03-11-2011, 06:34 AM

Hello.
I Apoliguesise that I'm not a consistent member, but I think my Gecko is dying.
I haven't Seen her come down for a couple of day's, but I Having be going bed early... so...

I've just checked on her today... She doesn't look good...
Her mouth is Gaped open - almost like it's broken - she's also is really skinny, and she doesn't react to my hand in the viv...

I don't know what went wrong, I have kept the humidity as best i can get it (60%-70%)- I place in cricket every night - coating them all in vitamin D3...

I don't know what really happened - She was fine (Not to fat of thin) just 4 days ago...I wasn't suspecting this fast...

Bump...
I know It looks bad - But I'm trying the best I can to feed her via a pipette. She seem's REALLY active - Just like her normal self - It's just her jaw - it's a full 90 degree's down - almost like she's dislocated it...

I have this useless Carpet felting that I have as a substrate - it's rubbish - she keeps getting her Mouth caught on it - I'm unsure if She's caught her mouth on it and dislocated it that way...

I'm just waiting now...

I took out a log which She has to crawl on if she likes, And it was full of cricket's...She was always pretty lousy at hunting them, that why she's bad?

I use to feed her baby food when I took her out - And put her into a smaller box so she could hunt crickets properly, but I had some advise - that she'll become snappy at me when I take her out - so I stopped - and now this :/ - I'm feeling really piss off and kinda cheated on despite this being all my fault...

try giving her this linked below as it has all the vitamins etc she needs

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Repashy-Cr...item641f7683c8

And get her to a good reptile vet as soon as possible

She doesn't need crickets every night. if you feed the diet which I have linked. 3 times a week and dusted crickets, twice a week, she may well live a happy life.

Baby Food is an age old way of feeding crested geckos before Allen repashy made his commercial diet.

But please get her to a vet asap to see if it is a more serious problem,
