Exclamation HELP!! Leo acting strange!! - 01-02-2012, 09:04 AM

Hello,

I own a Leo - about a year old. I have had her since October last year (4months) and up until now she has been content and happy, she has a moist hide with a heat mat and a cold dry hide. Her diet consists of a bowl of mealworms topped up daily, along with 6 crickets every other day and the occasional wax worm.

She is happy to be handled and always eats her crickets as soon as they are put into her enclosure.

I noticed 2 days ago that she wasnt really intersted in her food and since then she hasnt touched anything, she spends most her time in her hide sleeping, doesnt want to be handled and yesterday morning was making a strange popping sound which i havent heard before. I had her out last night and all she wanted to do was hide herself away again. She even looks abit sad! Is it just the time of year or should i be worried? Last night she spent about an hour in her water bowl with her little hands on the glass sides of the tank and it looks like she wanted to get out? she also makes a chirping noise.

I have checked her out - no blue spots on underside (she is kept on reptile carpet anyway) and theres no crusty nose/mouth/eyes.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!!
