Hi All... I have had a male golden gecko for a while and have decided it's about time he had some company.... I naively didn't think, when I brought Mungo my Golden Gecko, about where he came from, and have later discovered that those brought from pet shops are generally wild caught.

So firstly I am searching for any Golden Gecko breeders out there? or is anyone aware of anyone selling a female golden gecko in the Nottingham area (willing to travel a reasonable amount to buy one).

If I am unsucessful in this search I face a moral dilemma... request a pet shop to obtain a female golden gecko (with the aim of then breeding my pair to then approach pet shops to hopefully reduce the amount of wild caught geckos) or just settle for looking for a Tokay breeder and get a female Tokay so that Mungo has company rather than a 'girlfriend'.

I would appreciate any ideas on where to look for golden geckos; and breeders for both golden geckos and tokay.

Please can you also give me your opinion on wild caught, especailly as it would be to make a breeding pair and hopefully reduce the need to have wild caught.
