Default Field plankton for cresties? - 02-07-2009, 03:14 PM

I have a one month old Crestie and access to a large garden in the west midlands on which no pesticides or any other chemicals are used...

could/should i catch small insects to feed to my crested gecko? might they be more nutritios than commercially raised crickets? Has anyone else done this? knows the pros and cons? anything i should avoid...anything with a sting or a bite i'm guessing!

cheers.
