Default Dune gecko Eggs (Stenodactylus petrii) - 10-07-2008, 09:06 PM

My dune gecko recently laid eggs and I want to know how long they take to hatch as I already know I need to incubate them at 30C

Her scientific name is: Stenodactylus petrii

Depends on the incubator temp but anywhere from 45 to 90 days. I incubated mine just in dry sand but some folk like to add a little separate dish of water to up the humidity a bit.
Hatchlings are very tiny and very delicate, mine would only take micro crickets for first few weeks then gradually build up in size to 2nd instar when adult.
Hope this helps
