Furball has a habit of nibbling her kitchen towel substrate - does anyone else notice this? Anyone have an idea why she does it?

Are you dusting her food with calcium / multivits/minerals? Does she have a calcium bowl in the viv 24/7? Sometimes Leos will try to eat substrates if they are deficient in calcium. Very occasionally it can be a sign of parasites - has she been faecal tested? Sometimes they are just daft lol.
If she is well supplemented and you know that there are no parasites then personally I would swap to lino, tiles or slate if she keeps doing this.

Thanks Jools - yes her food is dusted and she has a dish of calcium powder. She hasn't been faecal tested yet. And I do intend to change the substrate when I find something suitable. Thanks again.
