Default Cricket Feeding - 17-08-2007, 12:34 AM

How does one feed crickets from a plastic bag to a leopard gecko? He has been mealworm fed his entire life, so I have no idea how to feed him crickets.

I thought that at the time, but when I bought my Leopard Gecko I asked the guy in the pet shop to feed him one so I could see what he did, and it really is pretty easy...

If you buy your crickets in a tuppaware box, just put the box into the plastic bag and open up a corner of the lid, let some jump out, dont worry about them escaping they cannont climb out of the bag, then get some tweasers and grab a cricket, not to hard though, then just put the cricket in the viv.

It sounds simple when your reading that, but I cant really elaborate any more, you'll just get used to it.

I have a pair of feeding tongs, I just open the corner of the tub, grab one by its legs and stick it in a bag, dust it and then chuck them in the tank.
