Hi all,

I am looking to get a new lizard next year once I've done all my research and got the equipment etc. but I'm having trouble deciding what I want.

Because the only experience with lizards I've got is with leopard geckos I was wondering what you could recommend to me.

I've had a quick browse at bearded dragons and bosc monitors but I can't seem to find a solid answer on whether they are handleable or good for a novice in lizards other than leos.

I've read somewhere that "ackies" are a great starter monitor but I would like to know what you guys would suggest.

I would like something tameable and handleable.

So please put forward some suggestions and reasons why they'd be suitable - It'd be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

beardeds are a good beginner lizard but require a lot of room 4ftx2ftx2ft. boscs calm down in time but require ALOT of room. something like 6ftx4ftx4ft

avoid chameleons if you want something you can handle, they also require alot of room.
