Question Calcium - 04-02-2008, 11:35 AM

Hi all just a quick question about gecko's mine will only eat brown crickets thought about trying pinkies but not to sure.

Well the real question is do i need to put calcium dust in for my geckos or is it okay just to use the gecko and cricket dust when feeding or should there be calcium available at all times for her. Heard and read lots of different things but want to do whats best for both my babies Any help anyone can offer would be grealy appreciated x many thanks

You should have a little pot of calcium in the tank at all times, just a milk bottle lid is fine. Means the geckos can have an extra boost of calciuk if and when they need it.

My gecko only eats brown crickets. Doesn't even look at mealworms or waxworms although he will eat black crickets if he doesn't have a choice!
