Iguana Spring Rolls
1/4 - 1/3 ripe banana
1 tablespoons fresh rose petals
1 chopped yellow squash
2-3 strawberries
2-3 pinches calcium/D3 powder
1 droperful of Reptisol
small handful fresh blueberries
1/2 stalk rhubarb
whole collar green leaves
Mix together everything except the collards in a blender or food
processor , or failing that, chop finely & mix together thoroughly by hand.
Cut the stem off of the collard leaves. Spoon mixture into a leaf & roll it
up like a burrito or egg roll. cut into bite size pieces. Do the same with
more collard leaves until mix is used up.
Tip: if you lay your iguana spring rolls on the seam side, they won't be
so apt to pop open.
Refrigerate for up to 3 days.
This recipe is designed for adult, large iguanas. If you are feeding a
baby iguana, just puree the whole thing & put it in a bowl for the little
ones ..Variations can be made, of course. however , iguanas should never be fed lettuce of any kind or spinach
