Question advice plaese!! - 28-06-2011, 12:04 PM

heya iv recently saved a leo when i got her she was very thin not eating lifeless with her eyes closed after much tlc plenty of baths and patience iv managed to get her eyes open and after weeks of hand feeding she is now able to catch her own food and has put on lots of weight her viv is set up correctly to my knowledge dry hide damp hide paper towels as she was in builders sand!!!! temps are correct... what i need to know is as she was very thin i have been feeding her 10-12 medium crickets every night but now her tail is nice and fat and she looks better all round should i now lower this to everyother night? i have tried to miss a night but if i do she is constantly searching for food!! and what is the recommended weight for an adult female? she is 5 years old i think and have you any other info for me thankyouuuu

I tend to feed my adult Leo's 4 to 5 times per week, they eat about 6/7 medium locusts each session.

I'm not sure of the average weight, mine are 110g and 120g which is MASSIVE (they are not overweight just rather large Leo's)

thanx for your advice iv looked at pix of other leos and tho te body is nice and fat and the tail her legs looks thinner than the pics iv seen so gonna keep feeding everyday for a while longer

hello wonder if u could help me again shes now stopped eating hasnt eaten anything for the last 2 nights.....what do you suggest i do??
